03Custom or off-the-shelf

Not every company needs a custom ERP

We will tell you honestly if an existing product covers your needs. Sometimes the right answer is off-the-shelf software plus a few integrations.

A custom application makes sense when

For an estimate on your case, a 30-minute conversation is usually enough.

How long until we can use something?

You see the first working module (usually inventory and orders) within a few weeks. A complete ERP is built in stages over a few months, but you start using it from the first modules.

How much does a custom ERP cost?

It depends on the number of modules and integrations. After discovery you get a clear estimate, broken into stages, so you can decide how much to build and when. There are no per-user licences.

What happens to the data in our old system or in Excel?

We migrate it: products, customers, suppliers, opening stock. We run a trial migration before launch so you can check the numbers.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code is versioned and documented, and you can hand it over to another team at any time. You are not locked in with us.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The application runs in the browser and adapts to small screens, which is handy for sales reps, the warehouse or deliveries.
